Chhota and small-ticket draws
"Chhota" (small) draws are the lower-priced, smaller-prize schemes sold alongside the main daily draws. They have their own series and their own result sheet.
Because the chhota ticket prints a different series range, a chhota number matching a main-draw 5th prize number does not entitle you to that prize. Match scheme to scheme.
How to read your Dear Lottery result
A Dear Lottery ticket carries a series (for example 65G) and a five-digit number (for example 50053). The 1st prize is announced as the series plus the number together — so 65G 50053 wins ₹1 crore, and every other series ending in 50053 wins the consolation prize of ₹1,000.
Below the 1st prize, the sheet lists ten 2nd prize numbers, ten 3rd prize numbers, ten 4th prize numbers and one hundred 5th prize numbers. Those prizes are paid on the number alone, whatever the series, which is why the same five digits can win in thousands of tickets at once.
- 1st Prize — ₹1 crore (series + number)
- Consolation — ₹1,000 (same number, all other series)
- 2nd Prize — ₹9,000 (ten numbers)
- 3rd Prize — ₹500 (ten numbers)
- 4th Prize — ₹250 (ten numbers)
- 5th Prize — ₹120 (one hundred numbers)
Why the scheme name changes every day
Each draw of the week has its own weekly scheme. Monday morning is Dear Rise, Saturday morning is Dear Vision, Sunday night is Dear Magic — and so on. The scheme name is printed on your ticket, so it tells you exactly which draw you entered.
The scheme also determines the ticket series range printed for that draw. If your ticket says "Dear Vision Saturday Weekly" then it is a 1 PM Saturday ticket, and the 6 PM or 8 PM numbers are irrelevant to it.
How to verify before you claim
Never trust a single screenshot. Cross-check the winning number on this page against the official bulletin linked on every result card, then match your physical ticket digit by digit.
Claims above ₹10,000 must be submitted to the concerned state lottery office with the original ticket, identity proof and a claim form. Smaller prizes can normally be collected from any authorised retailer in the state.
