How our live update works
We read the official result bulletin for each draw and publish the winning numbers here. When a draw has not been declared yet, the slot shows "result awaited" rather than a placeholder — we would rather show nothing than show something wrong.
Because the bulletin is the source of truth, the official PDF link is on every result card. If a number on this page ever disagrees with the bulletin, the bulletin wins and we correct it.
Draw timings and how quickly we update
The three daily draws are held at 1:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM Indian Standard Time. The department publishes the bulletin within a few minutes of each draw, and this page is refreshed as soon as the numbers are available.
If you land here before the draw time and see "result awaited", the draw has genuinely not happened yet — there is no way to know a winning number in advance, and any site claiming otherwise is lying to you.
Why a result can be late
Draws are occasionally delayed on festival holidays, on days when a state declares a holiday, or when the department reschedules a bumper or monthly draw. A delay of a few minutes is routine; a delay of hours is not.
If a slot is late, the safest move is to wait for the bulletin rather than trust a forwarded image on social media — edited result screenshots are the single most common lottery scam in circulation.
How to read your Dear Lottery result
A Dear Lottery ticket carries a series (for example 65G) and a five-digit number (for example 50053). The 1st prize is announced as the series plus the number together — so 65G 50053 wins ₹1 crore, and every other series ending in 50053 wins the consolation prize of ₹1,000.
Below the 1st prize, the sheet lists ten 2nd prize numbers, ten 3rd prize numbers, ten 4th prize numbers and one hundred 5th prize numbers. Those prizes are paid on the number alone, whatever the series, which is why the same five digits can win in thousands of tickets at once.
